Associate

I was first contacted by a senior associate in the industry group I was interested in. Phone call lasted ~15-20 minutes. Was asked a series of behavioral questions that seemed to be testing my interpersonal skills (what do you like to do outside of school? how would you describe your leadership style?) as well as my industry knowledge (what are some trends in energy that interest you? Have you been following any deals lately?). Wasn't sure how this call went, but it must have gone well bc I was then passed along to a VP who gave me technicals.

VP in first rd interview asked a bunch of technical questions (just read 400Qs, it covers everything). Did well enough to go on to the Super day, where a bunch of directors interviewed me on more behaviorals and why GS vs other banks to ensure I was committed. In total, I spoke or interviewed with 8 different bankers in the group before getting a decision
