General Interview Information
Interview Details
Around late January 2015, I received a call to come to the Superday in NJ office. There, I had two 30 minute interviews, with two interviewers in each. Most of the questions were behavioral in nature, and they also asked about my quantitative comfort level, since I am not a business student. The experience was great with each person there.
Two weeks later, I received a call from them saying that I was selected for a third round of phone interviews that would last about two hours, consisting of 30 minute sessions. Those interviews were very similar to the others, with an opportunity to ask many more questions.
It seems that GS stands true to its commitment to wanting to "get to know" the person they are interviewing me, because I could tell that the line of questioning often kept digging deeper at my responses, perhaps to determine the sincerity.
Overall it was a fantastic experience.
