Diversity Intern, IB

Applied online, got a phone screener one month later, followed 1 month later by a Super Day w/ 6 ppl from 3 divisions. Did it remote (video teleconference), and everything went pretty well. Logistics were challenging, so understandably there were some screwups (late starts, miscommunications, etc.)

Everyone was very nice. The last interviewer, an MD, went a whole hour. He stated he wasn't going to be too difficult with technical questions, given that I was not a traditional applicant, but I told him I welcomed a challenge. I didn't know the tech question, but he taught me a few concepts and then watched me apply them to the problem. Key was to be vocal, explain thought process and show you're able to apply concepts in an elegant fashion. It was a really unique experience.
