Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Hiring process consisted of 3 rounds of interviews - in total I had 17-18 interviews. Firstly, you are being interviewed by the junior members of the team - analysts, who test primarily your technical and modeling skills as well as the knowledge of accounting and valuation. During the 2nd round you are being interviewed by associates/VPs who may ask you some brainteaser questions, 1 or 2 advanced valuation/modeling questions; however they are much more focused on your personality, how you would fit the team and whether this department is the right place for you to be. During the 3rd round I had an interview with an MD, Head of the local Group and 2 other MDs, Heads of the European unit. They were not asking any technical questions and were completely focused on your personality, motivation and mindset.
