Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied online. A couple of weeks later received a call from the recruiter for the GIR group. He asked about my background, why GIR, why Goldman, etc, more of a vetting process. A week later got invited for an in-person interview with a VP and an MD. The VP went over a bunch of "why" questions about my background, then some standard "tell me about..." questions. No technical questions or brain-teasers. The MD was a bit awkward and rushed me through a lot of his questions. More on the technical side and some brain teasers. Nothing too engaging. Halfway through the interview with the MD I realized we weren't clicking so I knew he was not asking the questions he should have asked.
