IBD Summer Analyst

Applied early into the Accelerated Process. GS flew people in from all over the country. First, had 1 interview with individual interviewer. Then, had to wait a few hours in the GS cafeteria with a bunch of other interviewees -- pretty nerve wrecking, especially as people were called in and out. Didn't see a specific pattern on statuses of calls-- people seemed to get rejected and accepted in random intervals, so don't go crazy until you actually hear back the call. I was one of the last people to be called (I think) and got the 2nd round. Afterwards, I had 3 more interviews (back to back). Seemed to be a lot about fit, though they did ask a few technicals, but mainly the average ones (valuations, rates, etc). Every interviewer was very interesting and legitimately seemed down to earth. Very smooth process overall, and everyone is very willing to help.
