Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Interviewed with Goldman's Oil & Gas IBD group. Two phone interviews, one with an analyst, one with an associate. Thereafter invited to a superday in Houston. Superday was 3x 30 min interviews, each time 2:1 except for when I interviewed with the MD of the group. One interview was technical, one was a mix of technical and fit, the MD one was pure fit. My advice: Do not underestimate fit, I think I did going into the interview. People seemed nice, didn't really get to see much of the office unfortunately, though it pretty much looked identical inside (design-wise) to GS's NY office if that helps you imagine it.
