Investment Banking Analyst

The firm recruited at my school. Dropped my resume and spoke to a couple of alumni who were senior bankers in the office. Went straight to superday. For the most part, standard investment banking interview - walk me through your resume, why investment banking, why this firm - these are very important to nail. Also was asked questions on my previous internship experience in M&A - the important metrics, model drivers, rationale, etc. of my deal experience. Finally, was also asked high level questions on the economy, deals the firm had worked on, etc. Was well prepared to field those questions by reading the WSJ and other news sources on the headliners of the time. Got few / easier technicals vs. other firms, none that were not in the standard investment banking interview guides. Superday consisted of ~5 one-on-one interviews. 1-2 were completely technical, the other were a mix of both fit and technical questions.
