I go to a target school so first round was simple and plain cut. Mostly fit and few very very very basic valuation / DCF questions. Moved onto superday

Superday was a "liberal arts superday" and included kids from other liberal arts targets. Because of this the interviewers were told not to ask us that many technical questions. Interviews were very fit based, but also very intense 2 on 1. Interviewers were extremely tough, pushed on answers, and tried to come off as extremely unfriendly (a tactic that was being employed clearly). Technicals were standard out of M&I guide but because I had some past experience they tailored it to stuff on my resume and then also asked me a lot of markets based questions. Everything was out of order i.e. one guy would ask how would WACC change if we looked at XYZ company on your resume and then the other guy would immediately ask what is happening in China right now etc.
