Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview consisted of a typical phone interview where the interviewer asked about my resume. Talked about banking experience and school clubs. Phone interview was pretty easy. The on-site interview consisted of 4 rounds of interviews. Interviewers asked about my resume and then many behavioral and market questions. Do not lie about your resume. They will ask you to go through every detail of it. Behavioral questions were pretty simple (why IB?, why Goldman?, team oriented? etc.) They also asked me a few brainteasers (How many ATMs are there in Austin, TX?) They just want to see how you think. Make sure you know what's going on in the market. They asked me about macroeconomic policy and what the Fed was doing now.
