Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I go to Baruch College, and this position was posted on our campus career website.

I submitted my resume online, but not sure if I get the first round phone interview because of my resume or because of someone gave the recruiter my name.

First round was phone interview conducted by an associate and a VP. They gave self-introduction first, and then start the interview by my introduction. Quite standard. Most of the questions, if not all, were asked by the VP. I would say the questions were tailored person to person. I got a lot of corporate finance questions because I was preparing for CFA level one and put it on my resume. The questions were hard, but the overall conversation was friendly.

I would suggest that you be ready to answer any questions related to your resume.

Phone interview was on Thursday, heard back from them the very next Monday, and second round was that Thursday.

Second round interview was a on-site Super Day. Interviewed four round with 7 VPs. Questions were mostly technical, with two brain teasers and one behavioral (about teamwork). They do ask follow up questions.

What I noticed was that, everything you bring up is a fair game. I got questions about VaR and stress testing because I brought it up, and none of the other candidates got questions like that. I was a finance major, most of the others were math major, and they got many math questions.
