Sales and Trading Analyst

I had a phone call with a junior member of the desk. Almost certainly screening to ensure next round with more senior members was not a waste of time. Guy was very amicable, smart, we connected. I got passed onto superday eventually and thought all of my interviews went well. Got stonewalled for several weeks and followed up asking for clarification and was told that office (Chicago) was on a hiring freeze and they would get back to me when it was resolved. This was spring 2023. I never heard back after that.
