Securities summer analyst

The process started with recruitment at the university I'm currently studying abroad at. I spoke with a few Goldman people at the events, they were interviewing you on the sly at that stage. I remember they asked us questions about some finance thing during the course of a conversation and saw how quickly we could make sense of it. The first round was one on one. I was interviewing with a trader who grilled me about trades that I'd made on my own and other past experience. Then he gave me the hardest math brainteaser I've ever gotten in an interview. I didn't get it at all right, but he wasn't expecting me to.

The second round was three one on one interviews. These were much more softball type questions, not nearly as aggressive as the first interview.
