Securities Summer Analyst

Online application consisting of a 300 word cover letter and CV, submitted having attended two on-campus presentations from recruiters. About three weeks later, I was invited to a first round interview with a Director from Securities. The interview was mainly competency based and very aggressive in its style. Recruitment were very supportive throughout, my interview started within five minutes of my arrival and before I went in recruitment said it would be a competency based interview with a few questions like 'Why GS' and news stories you're following. Which it was! Within four working days, I received an email inviting me to the final round interview which I am told consists of three 30 minute interviews with MDs.
