S&T Summer Internship
General Interview Information
Interview Details
2. Hirevue (late September): 1 walk me through your resume + 4 (or 5, can't remember) situational qs + 1 q targeting each division you applied for (eg. if you apply for 2 divisions it's 2 qs). The division-specific qs should be quite easy, for example for IB you might need to talk about an M&A deal, for S&T about a stock, etc. so make sure to do a bit of reading on that beforehand.
3. Superday (late October): 3 back-to-back interviews with members of the team. I was pulled into a Zoom meeting with 8 other people and then moved into rooms for 1-to-1 meetings but it might be different depending on the office/division. I can't remember the exact qs but these interviews are very behavioural-based and targeted towards your CV, eg. I got asked entirely about a sport I did for one of the interviews. If they ask technicals and you can't answer it's completely fine they'll move on (which happened to me). The interviewers were much nicer than I expected because I heard the culture was really tough, so I'd say it was relaxing all throughout. One thing to note tho is that they will press on your logic so it's much better to think out loud than guessing an answer. I think the most important thing that differentiates you from other candidates would be whether or not you show interest for the job and a good way of demonstrating this would be in the Q&A part at the end of each conversation, ideally you'd ask something that shows your interest in the company or in their day-to-day.
4. Job offer (typically 2 weeks+ after Superday but I saw some get theirs in 2-3 days)
