I was reached out to about 5 years after not being given an offer in undergrad. (I had made it to super day for two different job function families.) The in house recruiter asked what I was interested in and the next thing I knew, I had a phone interview for Strats.
I was asked finance specific questions that demonstrated that I did not have a passion for finance. My interviewer was kind and said, "If you want to work here, you have to get really into finance."
He said this with earnest and there was a hint of disappointment. I knew then that I wouldn't advance past that stage.
