Summer Analyst

I started out networking with the team starting in August 2023 but primarily from December 2023 to January 2024. I was then invited to the insight day where we networked, met members of the firm, and learned about how GS Houston operates. No interviews were done there, however the team there did pick who would get a superday from that pool. My superday consisted of two back-to-back 2-on-1 30 minute interviews. The first was technical, consisting of 400 question guide sorts of accounting/finance questions, merger math, and energy market questions. The second was strictly behavioral, not too many curve balls. After that I was told it was taking longer than anticipated (we were told we'd have news that night) but received the offer four days later, which I accepted
