The superday consisted of several interview rounds that each focused on different areas. Overall, it was much more technical and analytical than a standard interview process, and the interviewers consistently pushed deeper on answers to test how well candidates understood their reasoning.

One round focused mainly on prior experience and technical thinking. The discussion involved walking through past work, explaining assumptions, and responding to follow-up questions that challenged different parts of the analysis. There was also a noticeable emphasis on accounting and financial statement understanding.

Another round combined behavioral questions with broader technical and industry-related topics. The interviewers asked about motivation, prior experience, and work style, while also discussing concepts related to business performance, transactions, capital structure, and financial decision-making.

The final round was more focused on markets, the economy, and industry trends. The conversation centered on broader themes affecting businesses and deal activity, along with potential risks and long-term trends.
