Summer Analyst - Operations

I simultaneously applied via OCR at my school and via their website under the category "Goldman Sachs Federation Northeast Consortium" during my freshmen year. After applying, I was notified a couple of weeks later via email by a HR representative inviting me to a two-day event with the first day being an information session and meet-and-greet with professionals, and the second day an essential "superday" with two back-to-back interviews. The employees who interviewed me were all alumni from my school. My first interview was a 2-on-1 with two associates while my second interview was a 1-on-1 with a VP. The interviews were all behavioral in nature. They asked the typical "why us", "why operations (and not banking)" and "why now" questions. I was notified of my acceptance about a week or two after the interviews. All the people in the waiting room seemed to be other kids from my school (structured so that current students are interviewed by alumni at the firm).
