Please describe the interview / hiring process.
My hiring process at Goldman Sachs began after submitting my application through their online portal, followed by an invitation to complete a HireVue video interview. After successfully passing that stage, I was contacted by a recruiter who helped coordinate a first-round interview via Zoom, which consisted of both behavioral and technical questions tailored to the division I applied for. The interviewers were sharp, professional, and clearly well-prepared, which reflected the firm’s emphasis on excellence and attention to detail. The process was well-organized, with prompt communication and clear instructions throughout. From my interactions, I found the people to be driven yet approachable, and I got the sense that the office culture values hard work, collaboration, and intellectual rigor. My advice to future candidates would be to deeply understand the division you’re applying to, stay updated on market trends, and be ready to demonstrate both your technical skills and your motivation to work at Goldman Sachs.
