The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Saw counsel (attorney) position listed at the firm. Contacted friend I knew worked there. Met him for coffee and he had good things to say about the North Carolina office and his experience. Talked to recruiting manager. Interviewed with the attorney I would be working for and two attorneys I would be working with. No technical questions beyond asking about my background in law and how it related to the position. Interview completely devoted to getting to know each other and "fit." Lasted about 2 hours total with four thirty minute slots, all on Zoom (this was late 2022 so unsure if that was COVID related). Talked to recruiting manager again. Offered a position at a law firm. Asked for clarity on where I stood in the process. Told they would not have a decision soon. Delayed a couple weeks hoping for progress. Asked recruiting manager for another update. Told still in the mix but they were leaning another way. Took the law firm job and withdrew my application.
Interview Questions
Literally nothing was difficult. They were entirely focused on explaining the job and determining whether I was a jerk and/or had a life outside of work.

a contact of mine passed my resume on to someone there. I had a preliminary "chat" and was moved on to a first round interview with the hiring manager. primarily behavioral and resume-based. Then a series of personality and skills tests, followed by another round with a few more senior people. Never heard back after that, so I assume they rejected me?

Interview
Received an inbound via a recruiter for an associate position within direct lending team. Introductory call with outside recruiter, second introductory call with internal recruiter, in person interview and case study (including modeling).

Before the in person interview, asked to take a series of tests including (i) personality test, (ii) IQ test, and (iii) language usage/grammar test.

Received a phone call after the interview with a verbal offer and received formal offer letter shortly thereafter.
Interview Questions
Didn't receive any unexpected questions but coming from a sell-side M&A focused banking role, answering credit evaluation questions required some preparation before the meeting.

Case Study Related Questions:
1. Please present your investment recommendation after review of the materials provided (CIM and databook). This was challenging because I couldn't find any examples on what exactly they were looking for (outside of invest/not invest, leverage levels, pricing, etc).
2. What do you think is an appropriate leverage indication for a business with XYZ characteristics?
3. How would you underwrite/mitigate XYZ risks?

Other Questions:
4. How would your manager describe you and the quality of your work product? (this is difficult because I heard Golub actually calls all references so need to make sure your answer is actually truthful and reference calls will be in line with your answer)
5. Describe a time when you had to use your written communication skills to get an important point across
6. Why are you interested in joining Golub?
