Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
I sent an email and expressed interest to a current employee. They gave me the email of a VP, and I then spoke to him. We talked a few times on the phone. This was more of a fit-interview process. Then, I came in and met with him one-on-one. After this, I was asked to come meet with him and the CEO, Brian Greenberg. I sat in with him and the VP, Shawn and discussed my resume and my interest in the company. After that, I got an offer to work there (as an intern).
Interview Questions
When asked about RCM/ARM experience, I did not have much to go on. Finding information about this industry online is difficult. It's a very niche industry. Just know what RCM and ARM are, and research deals on Bloomberg if you want a leg up.

Interview
The interview hiring process consisted of a pre-screen at OCR, phone interview with two employees (associate and MD) and then follow-up interview in person with the same people.

Interviews were mostly fit questions. A few basic finance understanding questions and a genuine interest in specialty finance helps.

They are also big on confidentiality, so that is a must.

No licenses though (no broker dealer).
