Investment Banking Intern

I applied online via an email application and received an interview invite two weeks later.
I was invited to the Frankfurt office in the Maintower for four 1 one 1 interviews on a technical base, two Analysts, one Associate and one Vice President who is responsible for managing the interns. The Analyst interviews were rather technical, as I was questioned about all usual valuation methodologies and my expectations for the internship. The Associate interview was also technical but also included some personal fit, as I was questioned about my hobbies etc.
The VP finally asked about my motivations for an internship after graduation from undergrad school and why I applied afterwards, given my unsual background. I was told that by then the analyst positions would be filled anyways and that I couldn't expect to be receiving a full-time offer afterwards. Analyst-wise the culture was very inviting, the VP crushed some of my expectations on such a bouitque investment bank.
