What did the interview consist of?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Was in banking--started by meeting with a recruiter, going through resume and interests. Recruiter reached out with interview invite. Consisted of three rounds--1st round was in-person in New York with 4 people from GTCR, going through your resume, asking about your deals and asking general technical questions.

Next round was a modeling test where you had to create a flowing three-statement LBO model largely from scratch within a few hours.

Final rounds were in the Chicago office, where you met with 6-10 people at the office. Firm was very quick about turnaround, and called that night with a verbal offer and had offer letters sent the day after.
