Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Highly disorganised Superday on a Saturday afternoon. Three interviews altogether with two investment professionals each, one brainteasers interview, one accounting interview, one personality interview.
The brainteasers were bog-standard GMAT questions online. If you ever studied for the GMAT you would have nailed them.
One of the senior interviewers spent the morning eating a sandwich and giving out the details of each brainteaser with his mouth stuffed - highly off-putting and rude. All of the other Analysts and Associates seemed like great people.
The interviewers had no confidence in the questions they were asking. It seemed like they were given a bunch of stupid questions to ask by HR i.e. I have a 3x3 box. how much is it worth? Why not just ask the person how to value a company?
