Please describe the interview / hiring process.
For their Middle Market Chicago office. Applied online. VP reached out 2 months later to have a phone call which was largely behavioral. Why Chicago, Why IB, Why Middle Market. Was then invited to a hypothetical email scenario/writing sample that had 1 hr to complete. After that I was invited to an in person networking event in Chicago which consisted of about 20 candidates and about 6-8 bankers, very laid back but not everyone received an invite to the superday from that event. Final step was a superday 2 weeks later that consisted of five 30 min interviews varying from MD/VP/Associate. 1 technical interview based off of a 10k they sent beforehand and various other questions - not really verbatim from the technical guides but if you understand the concepts from those guides, you should be fine.
