The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

It was fairly straightforward. One-on-one interview on campus, followed by about a 3 week delay prior to a notification that I had been invited to a super day. The super day consisted of meeting and interviewing with the entire group of ~5 people. Lots of market driven questions (tell me an interesting piece of financial news over the past week and how it is impacting the markets now) and a stock pitch were the main components of the interview, along with a lot of fit questions.

HMC hires very often from Harvard, so it was not hard to get started with the interview process. Dropped my resume through the office of career services and was asked to go to the office for a 30 minute interview. I was unlucky because there were big news to be announced (hint: Blyth) and my interview was exactly 30minutes before the announcement. Anyway, it was very straightforward and not much preparation required if you're passionate about markets, unlike some other funds that ask very technical questions. The office is beautiful, people were very friendly, and work culture balanced. Did not get the offer though, notified in 3 weeks.
Interview Questions
Asked me about my classes, which ones I liked and why. Explain concepts from a stats class I enjoyed. Why probability is often unintuitive.
Went though the standard resume walk-me-through. Activities and some work experience.
Spent half the interview talking about my views on the markets, the Fed, and where rates were going. Just wanted to see if I was really as enthusiastic about the markets as I said I was.
