Analyst Intern

Well, got a call and left a Voicemail. Called him back and interview began. He first asked why Investment Banking. Proceeded to ask why Harvey & Co? Most importantly, be real. Know what Private Equity means as well. If you don't know, say so, but I really do believe you should KNOW what it is if you want this because I'm sure many others would love to take this position.

ADVICE: It would definitely be a good place to start in terms in Internships. I seen many friends start from PWM @ Merril Lynch and then to Harvey & Co. and then to bigger and better internships. It's too bad I messed this one up bad. If I could do it all over again, I'd do more research on the firm before calling. It's too bad because I knew what PE is... I just could not say it at the time. I was a bit nervous. Definitely gotta know those two terms before you can even start to intern.

Keep in mind this is not a real PE firm. I knew exactly what this firm does, but I didn't want to offend them by saying they do coldcalling to other PE firms and just enter numbers in their own database.
