Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Lateral industry hire process. Started with two 30-minute background phone interviews. Really just focusing on experience to date, specifically deal experience since it was a lateral move. Those took about 2 weeks to complete, then was quickly offered to come out for a full-day of in person interviews with 6-7 people. Half of those interviews were impromptu case style interviews. In general, the office was full of smart, driven people. They're really looking for someone who can quickly get to the root value drivers in businesses and can think "outside of the box" when looking at opportunities.
