Standard OCR application by submitting resume with first round interview at campus career center. First round interview was with a senior associate and very typical in terms of IB first rounds. Almost all the technicals that I was asked were very easy and straight forward (different valuation methodologies, DCF follow-up, 3-statement walkthrough for accounting). Hardest part of technicals during first round were some follow-ups on looking at different multiples from public comparables.

Final round consisted of 3 interviews with only VPs and a 1 hr test on basic finance and accounting (see below). Besides the test, final round was mostly fit. One banker had me walk him through purchase accounting and some of the nuances involved in consolidating statements due to my M&A background from the summer.
