Interview
The first round was two thirty-minute long interviews, with the first being entirely behavioral and the second being mostly technicals. The final round consisted of one 30-minute interview that was also very behavioral, but had one technical question thrown in.
Interview Questions
In the technical second interview, I was asked pretty standard questions like explain how the three financial statements pertain to CVAS, which is most important, how do you value a company, how do you calculate WACC, and how to find CAPM and Beta. One of the questions that caught me off-gaurd was "If you're going to use a precedent transaction analysis to evaluate a company, what is the most you'd be willing to go back in time/the oldest transaction you should use at max as a basis. The final round interview was composed of questions like what kind of learner are you, discuss a time you disagreed with someone in a group, and a random technical that was "If a company is willing to pay a premium to acquire another company, what is that called and how would you go about evaluating that?"
