Houlihan Lokey Restructuring

Started with two phone screen interviews, each ~30 min long. After "Tell me about yourself" and asking why RX and why HL RX in particular, they went into technicals. They consisted of similar questions as in the guides, but a little more difficult (e.g., accounting flow through question involved raising debt to purchase inventory, which you then sell at the end of the year and you have to deal with cash and PIK interest as well as amortization on the debt)

The superday was eight rounds each 30 minutes long, so you interview with over half of the group. A few rounds are behavioral, some technical, and one is a brain teaser round.

Overall, the interview was more technical than most, but it was completely manageable if you do the proper preparation. Reading the BIWS RX guide is an absolute minimum. Reading all of Moyer's book is definitely overkill, but you'll be set if you do that in addition to prepping the classic 400 questions guide.
