Investment Banking Analyst

Very typical OCR application by submitting resume and having first round interview at campus career center. First round interview was a balanced mix of technicals and gauging interest in HL. Mix of both carried over in the final round as well -- word of advice, have a solid reason for why HL and why more middle market coverage (I talked a lot about how with smaller companies your work on the advisory side is probably much more gratifying since the companies may not have internal teams and actually need an investment bank). I received a lot more technicals from the two analysts that interviewed me. Two interviews with associates were a fair mix of technicals and fit while interviews with VP and Director were entirely fit.
