Interview Details

What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Group Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
- Initial On-campus Interview -
The initial on-campus interview was very relaxed. Met with two first year Analysts, all behavioral, and no technicals. Questions: Tell me about yourself, why investment banking, why tech, what do you like to do during your free time.

- On-site Interview -
Quick turn around. Was contacted by HR within a week/two weeks to come in for an on-site interview. The on-site consisted of 2 back-to-back interviews--a one-on-one with the Senior VP and a four-on-one with the rest of the team. Senior VP questions: Tell me about yourself, why investment banking, why tech, why should we hire you. Questions from the group interview: Tell me about your experience at X Company, walk me through a DCF, walk me through a black-scholes model (came up during the conversation), etc.

- Perception -
Great place to start / great name to have on your resume if you can't land a BB offer. The four-on-one group interview that took place on-site was a bit awkward to navigate--very unstructured with two bad cops, one good cop, and an Analyst that was silent the entire time.
