Restructuring Analyst

Interview was by video conference. I received the interview by applying through my campus recruiting website. Interview was very technical and accounting-based; they were keen on asking how investors in different areas of the capital structure would be affected by a bankruptcy. Also, understand how PIK debt flows through the 3 statements. If you are from the East Coast, you need an airtight answer for why you would want to move to LA. Finally, make sure you are familiar with some restructuring deals the group has done and have a good answer for why restructuring attracts you vs. traditional investment banking.
