Staff Analyst

I came across the position on their site and applied. A week later, I was emailed by a recruiter to set up a phone interview with a director. We scheduled for later that week and the phone interview lasted for 30 minutes. The director seemed very distant over the course of the interview, but started with the usual "tell me your story." He then followed up with questions about previous deals I've worked on, asked me to walk him through the financial statements, and how I would value a private company. Everything was pretty straight forward. A recruiter followed up within a week to schedule a time for me to come in but I declined. Other than the director sounding like he could care less to get to know me, the whole process was very efficient.
