Please describe the interview / hiring process.
There is a first an online application which you have to fill - the standard sort of competency questions and examples that every bank does. There is then a telephone interview. This again is very general, all competency, no technical questions. Examples of leadership, teamwork, why HSBC etc. Then, there is the final round AC, and this consists of three one-on-one interviews with a case study as well. Two of the interviews were competency based, one was slightly more technical, and asked questions about the current environment about issuing debt etc. The presentation was roughly 10 mins long with 20 mins Q&A, and was more to do with investment management rather than DCM.
