Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Fairly straightforward interview process. The internal consulting team - from what I hear - work very closely with the executive leadership on high profile strategic items, e.g. acquisitions, long-term strategy development, etc.
That said, the group has surprisingly few people - and these are not ex-BB bankers or ex-McKinsey types but are smart nonetheless.
The interview process was fairly simple: 2 interviews - both had a behavioral and case component to it. Both were 30-45 minutes long. Apart from that, the interviews were fairly unstructured.
Networking definitely helps in getting interviews (in this group, at least) - that's how I got the invite.
