Investment Banking Summer Internship

I saw a job posting on my school career website and reached out to the point of contact listed. From there, I went to the company website and tried to speak to as many first year analyst and gain insight on what the interview process looked like while also asking them about the experience. I set up a phone call with as many first year analysts that replied to my emails and also made sure to set up a phone call with the point of contact listed on the website, as this person usually has a big say in who gets a first round interview. I basically stayed in touch with them for about a month or two until the interview and would name drop each other so it would show that I have spoken to more than one person and showed my interest.
