Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I got the interview from a distant relative that was an associate in the group. The initial interview was technical as they asked all basic technicals (What are DCF, Comps, EV, WACC), but then it got into more of restructuring based questions such as the hierarchy of debt, covenants, and more about distressed M&A. Interviewers were all nice and respectable. Got past the first two phone screens and made it to the super day where the restructuring question became a lot more of the interview question and a lack of knowledge in that product was why I did not get an offer.
