Research Associate Analyst

I initially applied for the position on their website. Within a few days, their HR department reached out to me to schedule a phone interview later in the week. The phone interview was about thirty minutes long, and consisted almost exclusively of fit related questions. I described my background and the reason for my interest in the company. The day after the phone interview, HR contacted me to schedule an in-person interview at their office. The person interviewing me was a 2nd year research associate, and he was friendly enough. We talked more in-depth about my background and what the position entailed, and he also asked me some questions about how I go about researching a company, and how I would organize my results to present to my supervisor. He didn't ask any difficult technical questions, but was more interested in my approach to due diligence. He didn't ask me to pitch a stock, which somewhat surprised me as I was certain I would be asked to do so. The interview ended with me being able to ask some questions.
