Jefferies reached out to me via email to set up a phone interview. Phone interview was entirely technical with standard DCF questions. The Houston location is largely focused on energy investment banking, so they asked questions about valuing an oilfield and oil well. They let me know when I missed something and told me the right answer. Their culture is a "sweat shop" largely focusing on two target schools nearby and rarely (if ever) hiring out of the non-target.
