Summer Analyst

Sent CV and cover letter to the firm after referral from a current employee. Was later invited for an interview where they wanted to get to know me and do a background check. More than a month later (i.e. quite a long time) they got back to me and invited me for another interview. This time it was more technical and I met with several employees including a 2nd year equity research analyst, a trader and a MD of DCM. They were all quite unprofessional, they hadn't read my CV before going to the interview, it felt like I just wasted their time as they had to go away from their desks and they were all a bit arrogant.
I didn't get a good impression of the firm, the ambience felt very competitive, it felt like they had no team spirit and all they cared about was themselves. I didn't end up getting an offer, in fact I didn't even hear back from them, but if I would have gotten an offer I doubt I would have accepted it.
