Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I reached out to an alum who is the head of the group. After initial phone conversation, he felt he was impressed enough to bring me in to meet his managing directors for further conversations and interviews. After talking to many of those contacts and figuring out which desk had hiring needs that I could match best, I went through a formal interview process where I met everyone of the team. A hiring decision was made shortly afterwards. The work the desk does and its business prospects really appealed to me and everyone on the team also struck me very positive impression, so I accepted the offer.
