Fund accountant

I applied online trough the JPMorgan website after which I received an email that stated I was shortlisted for the assessment day. I then had to fill out a form in which I had to answer some general questions and my expectations of the role, I also had to describe my 5 key competencies. I had the assessment day one week later which consisted of:
- Presentation by business
pretty informal, which was nice.
- SHL numeric assessment
practice some SHL tests online (for example the free trial) and you should be fine
- Candidate interviews (me with two interviewers)
Almost completely strengths based, their questions were mostly based off of my resume or explaining a situation in which I had to give my response.
- Financial Services quiz
A short test consisting of 10 or so questions; what is the CEO, etc.
- HR overview for candidates
End of the day Q&A

It all lasted from 9.00 until 13.00.

The people were very friendly and they opened the day with an informal presentation where all the people who were going to take the interviews introduced themselves. This took away a lot of tension, also because a lot of people (including me) had been reading up on the JPMorgen interviews and were pretty spooked by what we read. I think one of the main reasons this day was not so harsh as what I had read on the internet was because it was for back office roles.
