What did the interview consist of?
Group Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Fairly simple and standard application process. Quite a few qualification requirements for an internship; however, the title did not adequately represent the level of responsibilities (more akin to contracted work) and it was part of JPMorgan's Emerging Talent Program.
Position within JPMorgan Chase Institute (JPMCI)--which is relatively new and the hiring process seems to reflects this nascency. Interviewers appeared to be not overly prepared as one would expect and were very casual, this may be because of the general COVID-19 Zoom culture. One of the interviewers appeared to very junior and perhaps less qualified on paper than myself.
Typical initial questions: About me, CV, why JP/JPMCI, strengths/weakness, describe a mistake ex., collaborative working ex., etc.
Position focused questions: Project management ex., analytic abilities ex., social media campaign ex.,
Not as professional of an experience as I'd expect from Fortune 100 co. --repeated misspelling of my common name in a non-formulaic email correspondence. Poor professionalism as they scheduled a follow-up secondary interview with upper-management then did not address interview cancellation but rather sent a form rejection letter.
