Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had the chance to talk with a couple of Investment Banking M&A Analysts and Associates at JPMorgan Chase before speaking to Managing Directors. They were very specific about you answering DCF questions and being able to explain the concept of terminal value and what the output of the DCF means and to simplify what it means such that you could explain it to your 80 year old grandmother. Overall, the process consisted of mostly technicals as they expect that when you graduate you have the drive to study on your own without a given structure and they want to see you truly demonstrate your attention to detail.
