Investment Banking Summer Analyst

For me recruiting process consisted of 11 interviews, first half was conducted in December, then successful candidates were invited to the final round in February. Number of interviews varied from candidate to candidate, but from what I have heard, the goal was to make sure that each candidate was interviewed by every junior banker.
Only associates and analysts took part in the process with VP making the final decision, no MDs were involved.
Types of questions varied from interviewer to interviewer, technical questions were fairly easy (all taken from BIWS or similar guide) and fit questions were also pretty standard. Throughout my interviews I was asked to solve 6-7 brain teasers, which are a common way to test applicants there. Whole process was conducted in Russian and they usually assume that the candidate's English skills are sufficient. However, some analysts from time to time test applicants English skills during the interviews.
