Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online, had to take a situation judgement test and after 1 month I got invited to an AC. The AC lasted for about 3,5 hours. First I had to take a numerical test, same as all the other banks also have. (20 minutes for 20 questions, which is kinda hard). Then I had to prepare a case study which consisted of a couple of questions about potential targets for a specific company. The main point was to choose one of the targets and explain why that one best fits the buyer. The outcome had to be presented to an interviewer in English. (Very relaxed and nice atmosphere) After the presentation the interviewer asked me some questions about my background. Second round was with a VP, first he asked me some questions about my past internship and current m&a transactions. Then I had to solve a brain teaser and some technical questions. (DCF model). The third round was with an associate, who asked me questions about LBO analysis and I had to calculate the IRR for some given numbers. Also questions about current M&A transactions and what I think I would be doing at JPM as an intern.
