What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
It was a relatively easy interview. The biggest difficulty was connecting over the phone, which comes with the territory. I was asked mostly fit questions.
Why are you an economics major? Why did you chose University of Choice? What's a strength/weakness of yours? Why S&T? Why not IB? Why JPM?
There were a few technicals included.
Where would you says markets are headed? What influences an interest rate? What is a bond? What is a CDO?
The interview ended with questions that related back to the interviewer and that was it. I heard back about 4-5 days later with the offer.
